MIKE WILLISON: Public Relations, Education and Events Manager
A circuitous, tangential, but magnetic path has led Mike to Oregon. A native of the Chicago area, Mike cut his teeth in wine education working as the Sommelier at a restaurant devoted to the wines of the Northwest and then as an instructor at the Le Cordon Bleu. After a visit to Oregon in 2006, the call of the West seemed to come with increasing frequency. Mike worked harvest in 2008 & 2009 and it was preordained; the fates had indeed spoken, and loudly. Now Mike is settling in, purchasing wet weather gear, learning not to pump his own gas, and feeling a sense of enormous well-being. See what Mike thinks at the He Said / She Said Blog.
KATIE WILSON: Media Marketing Manager (3M)
After finishing her International Business degree at Linfield College, Katie has been involved in all aspects of the winery's direct sales program. Most recently she worked on developing and reworking the winery's websites (www.atozwineworks.com, www.pinotnoir.com, www.williamhatcherwines.com, and www.rexhill.com), and working on various marketing efforts. A native Oregonian, she lives locally with husband, Rollie and when not working they are chasing after their two kids, Quinn & Ida.
